Porsche To Reveal The All-New 718 Boxster At The 2016 Geneva Motor Show

Porsche is all set to reveal the 718 Boxster at this year's Geneva International Motor Show, which is traditionally the place for world premieres of very exclusive sports cars. The second world premiere is a strictly limited-edition vehicle.
The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in 1996 with a flat six-cylinder engine, and 20 years later Porsche is unveiling the 718 Boxster with a four-cylinder engine. The 718 Boxster will be the first Boxster with a four-cylinder engine in its 20-year lifespan.

The 718 Boxster's exterior design is all-new while the cabin and dashboard are also revised. Other noticeable exterior changes are new headlights with integrated daytime running lights, standard bi-xenon and optional full LED.
At the rear, new LED '3d' taillights, updated bumper and a central-mounted dual exhaust pipe enhance the design. As for the interior, a revised steering wheel, an improved Porsche Communication Management infotainment system, and a redesigned instrument panel are the major revisions.

The unveiling of the new 718 Boxster and the strictly limited-edition vehicle will take place during the Porsche press conference on March 1.
